Remind us, Lord, reassure us,
that whatever we must pass through,
whatever we must endure,
you are there with us,
you have already won the victory.
Even if we walk
in the valley of the shadow of death,
you are with us.
May we know
your strength, comfort and peace.

who help others see you,

lie across the world,
help us to model
a different way to live,
in the values of your kingdom;
seeking the welfare of others,
not just ourselves.
Turn the darkness into light,
that your glory may be seen
in our lives.

You are faithful and true, Lord;
you call us and guide us,
you guard us and keep us.
Turn our hearts
from all that is opposed
to your kingdom,
and let us never be diverted
to follow any earthly king
in your place,
whether a concept,
a culture,
a person,
or a prize.

your coming in glory, Lord,
remind us that you come to us daily;
make us ready to greet you.
Open our lives to your Holy Spirit,
that we may be transformed
for your kingdom.
Open our eyes
to see your image
in each person,
that we may show your love.

that we may have spiritual stamina
to journey through
the difficulties and hardships of life
with our focus firmly on you
and your kingdom.
Whatever we face,
may we know your presence,

Lord God Almighty;
just and true are your ways,
King of the nations!
Help us to serve you
willingly and well,

from the days of Noah
you have told us to see the rainbow

to see the signs
of your love in action among us

help us this day
to join in the worship of heaven,
to share with angels, archangels
and all the saints
in giving you glory
through our prayers and praises,
through our words and deeds,
through our attitudes and actions.

when events global or local
disturb and concern us;
draw us back
to the assurance we have in you.
Inspire us to work on
for the revealing of your kingdom,
reaching out in love
to neighbours near and far,
known and unknown,

not only by image and appearance,
but by the substance
of lives lived in your way,
words and actions
in tune with your heart,
an approach to life
and an attitude to others
which manifests your kingdom to all,

in our hearts, minds and lives
whereby we can stand before you,
come what may,
in your peace
and in the assurance of your love.
In all the tribulations
and uncertainties
of the world,
may the still centre
of your kingdom
anchor us.

and focused on you, Lord,
whatever life brings our way.
Whether we face good things or bad,
joy or sorrow, ease or hardship,
peace or conflict,
let our lives be centred on you,
our course fixed on your kingdom,

and the assurance of salvation;

to your refining love,

Take from us
what is opposed to your kingdom;
in your love

hear our prayers
for our Queen, for kings,
