Inspire in us, Lord,
living faith;
faith which
shows itself
not only in our
prayers and devotions,
not only in the holiness
of our private lives,
but also in the way
we live our lives
for others and
the world.
Help us
put your love
into action,
not just
into words.

the eye of
discernment,
that we may
see and know
the truth
of each person

not so as to judge

Where division
and distinction
are the watchwords,
bring relationship

with your love, Lord,
that there is no room
for selfishness or greed,
ego or enmity.
Give us a yearning
for the wellbeing of others
and the good of all,
that our lives may be
guided and directed
by your will

interlocked
as the living stones
of your living Temple,
bound together as one,
supporting each other
and forming the whole
to your glory.
Remind us that
the bond
holding us in unity
is your love;

in sharing

for the commitment,
the courage,
and the character
of Mary Magdalene;
for her deep love for you
which led her to be
the first to know
of your resurrection
and for her
deep love for others
