Remind us always, Lord,
that we are yours;
that you guard us
and keep us,
that you long to fill us
with your peace.
Keep us firm
and give us courage
in the face of the darkness
that people visit on each other:
surround and infuse us
with your love, life, and light.

to glorify your name
by the lives we lead,
by the words we say,
by the attitudes we foster.
Help us to do so
