You reach out to us in grace and mercy, Lord,
healing, reconciling, forgiving, loving;
you draw us into relationship with you,
overcoming the obstacles of the Law and our sin.
Help us remember
that you are greater than the barriers we erect,
and you welcome and embrace us.
