Grant us, Lord,
a faith like Abraham’s,
who believed your promise
even though it seemed impossible,
and so was ready
to journey forth with you.
Grant us a faith like Joseph’s,
who believed you
even when life was bleak,
and so was readied
to bless many
in your name.
