Remind us, Lord,
that you go ahead of us
in our pilgrimage of faith,
that you chose us
before ever we chose you.
Fill us with your love,
and guide us as we follow,
that we may bear much fruit
for your kingdom,
and truly show
that we love one another
as you love us.
