Teach us, Lord, to know
the surpassing value
of your kingdom,
and of our being
counted worthy
of a part in it.
Teach us also
to recognise its treasure,
your presence among us.
Remind us that the ordinary
is charged with your glory;
open our hearts
to encounter you.
