Lord, you choose us,

craft us, hone us

and shape us,

to be living stones

in your house,

a living temple

of your kingdom.

Give us grace

to be faithful

to this calling,

that we may be

a beacon

of your love

to all who live

in the shadow

of fear,

hatred,

or war

today.
