of your kingdom
all around;

not only our eyes
but also our hearts,

to be a sign

and minds, Lord,
that we may
put our trust
not in structures
of our own making
and devising,
nor in the resources
of our own fallenness
and brokenness,
but in the love you offer,
in your presence with us,

help us to let go
of the demands
of self-centredness.
Give us faith enough
to place our trust in you,

Save us from trying
