Fortify our hearts, Lord,
in the face of all
that would seek
to undermine
our trust in
your kingdom;
keep us strong
in the certainty
of your love,
the solidity
of new life in you,
the constancy
of your light,
which shines
and says
to any darkness
“I beg to differ”.
