Save us, Lord,
from constructing
our faith with
our own hands,
building a kingdom
that is ours,
not yours;
instead,
keep us ever open
to the leading
and prompting
of your Holy Spirit,
ever ready
to listen and hear
the voices of
the prophets
you raise up
in our day.

differences of opinion
among your people,
as we wrestle

your kingdom, Lord;

of the world,
