#MorningPrayer
We pray, Lord,
“Lead us not
into temptation”.
The temptation
is so often
towards self:
self-satisfaction,
self-importance,
self-preservation,
self-aggrandisement…
Yet we know
another way,
a way of service,
of focus on others,
of discipleship.
Keep us
in this way.
