As we look
for your coming
among us, Lord,
both in the crib
at Christmas
and at your
return in glory,
keep us watchful
and wakeful
to your presence
among us today;
hold our hearts
ready to receive you
afresh this day,
and our lives ready
to reveal you
to the world.
