Send upon us, Lord,
the gift of your Holy Spirit,
that we may be filled
with your mercy
and your peace,
your wisdom
and your grace,
with faith, with hope,
and with love;
guide us in your ways,
fit us for your kingdom,
and help us
to know and show
our unity in you.
