We wait, Lord.
We heard your cry,
“It is finished”
and we wait.
We saw your body
sealed into the tomb
and we wait.
We heard your promise
that this Temple,
though destroyed,
will rise again
and we wait.
Keep us watchful,
faithful, ready
for what
the morning
brings.
