Lord, as we recall the welcome
of your mother by Elizabeth,
may we share in the response
of joy from her and her baby
to your presence with us.
May we hear your call
in Mary’s Magnificat,
to strive for the
justice and peace
of your kingdom
also to be seen
among us.
