Help us, Lord,
to apprehend
your love and grace,
the foundation
of your kingdom;
keep us from allowing
our human understanding
and worldly priorities
to obscure your
wisdom and calling.
Let not a pursuit of
status, power,
ideology or wealth
divert us from your way.
