of your kingdom, Lord,
to us and through us;
may our lives be
transformed and animated
day by day
in our encounter with you,
with your risen life,
such that it shows
in all that we are
and shines
in all we say and do.
May our lives show yours.

As we joyfully proclaim
your resurrection, Lord,
may we open ourselves anew
to the life you have won for us,
the love which overcomes all things,
and welcomes us into

You humbled yourself, Lord,
to share our human condition,
to live our human life.
You, the author of life,
shared even our death,
that all may be raised with you,
for death cannot overcome your love.
Fill us with that love
and the sure and certain hope
of new life.

Your love for us, Lord, is manifest
in your being born to share our life,
to live out that love among us;
the same love which remains faithful
in the face of hatred and violence,
the same love which held you to the cross.
May we behold and receive that love, today.

to enable injustice
by shouting with the crowd,
giving in to peer pressure,
going with the flow,
bring us back to your way,
give us courage
to stand for your kingdom,
to follow your ways
of truth and justice,
to be agents of your love.

in the assurance of your love
and of our identity in you,
to own you as Lord
and ourselves as your disciples.
Give us boldness,
but with grace and humility,
that we may share our faith in you,
our sure and certain hope
in your promise of life.

that you might give your life
in love and service,
for us and all the world.
Help us lay aside
the demands of the ego,
and concern for status,
that we may offer ourselves
to you and to one another,
in the service
of your mission
of love.

of your Passion
may your offering
of yourself for us,
inspire us to offer ourselves
to the work of your kingdom
in the world.
May we, your body,
be a sign to others
of your love and new life,
that all may encounter you
and find in you peace.

your entry into Jerusalem, Lord,
may we welcome you anew
into our lives.
Give us grace
not to seek to mould you
into our image,
but to let you mould us,
that your image in us
might shine out,
your love be manifest
in all we do, say, and are.

as people of prayer
who cultivate an awareness
of your presence
and bring before you
the needs of the world
and its people,

who make space

of your kingdom,
but also a desire
to share it, to live it

May we be a hive of heaven

to be pursuers of peace;
not simply to seek
the absence
or the cessation
of discord, hostility
