Lord, give us
patience, perseverance,
persistence and peace:
Patience
as we live in the ‘now but not yet’
of your kingdom;
Perseverance
as we struggle against
all that is opposed to it;
Persistence
as we share your love
with a world in need of it;
and
Peace in you.
