Lord, give us the faith and maturity
to be truly open to your Spirit,
that we may be ready
to hear your word to us,
your call upon us,
your guidance for us,
even when it doesn’t fit
with our preconceptions.
Give us peace
in knowing what you ask of us,
and doing it.
