Give us courage, Lord,
to stand for your kingdom,
for what we know to be
right, good, loving.
Let us never be swayed
by what will give us an easy life,
ingratiate us with the ‘right’ people,
bring us material gain,
or advance our own agenda.
Help us to follow you.
