To your fearful
and huddled
disciples, Lord,
encountering you
was evidence enough
of your resurrection.
Thomas needed
to encounter you
for himself,
not adopt second hand
the faith of others.
Keep us open
to our own encounters
with you,
and to leading others
to you.
