Anoint us, Lord,
with the gift of your Holy Spirit.
Keep us close to you;
attentive to your voice
as we journey the path of discipleship,
pilgrims together on the way of faith.
Let us not be turned aside
by ego, error or enmity;
keep our focus on your love
for all.
