Lord, by your Spirit,
give us the gift
of wise discernment.
Help us recognise
what is of you
and what is not;
what reveals your kingdom
and what obscures it;
what leads us closer to you
and what turns us in on ourselves.
May your love
be the hallmark
on our lives.
