Turn, O Lord,
the hearts of those
who would pursue
worldly power,
selfish gain,
empire and ambition,
with little regard
for their impact on others;
turn their hearts and minds
to peace, justice
and the common good.
Lead us all
to pursue
the things
of your kingdom.
