When ego, greed
and the desire
to possess
what is not ours
drives us to sin, Lord,
have mercy on us.
Turn our hearts instead
to the ways
of your kingdom;
give us a desire
to live out
the mutuality
to which you call us,
finding joy
in the peace
and wellbeing
of all.
