Lord,
as you spent time
in the Temple
asking questions,
encouraging understanding,
engaging in discussion,
so may we follow your lead;
give us an inquiring faith,
an engaged faith,
a faith that is not afraid
to wrestle with questions.
Keep us in dialogue with you.
