whither we go,

we know whose Spirit

that in us,

disrupt our journey,
when plain sailing
turns into precariousness
and puzzlement,
when we are reminded
that the ocean
is big and powerful
and our boat feels

reassure us
of your presence,
your promises,

our life’s journey
takes unexpected
twists and turns,
when we are forced
into a diversion,
or when the road ahead
is blocked
