Remind us, Lord,
of the gospel you give us,
the love you give us,
the peace you give us,
the ministry you give us;
keep us faithful to you
and to our calling
as your people.
May we never claim
our own prejudices as yours,
and so pervert your call
to peace,
to love.

in your love
and make us heirs
of the promise
of your kingdom,
bearers of your image.

to see that image
in others,

show your love

of all that is

sisters and brothers
together with all
who follow you;

from following the gods

If the storms of life
assail us
and the solidities
and sureties

that your house

day by day,
to our vocation
of showing your love to,
shining your light for,
and sharing your life

convict us of
