Open our eyes, Lord,

that we might see

the intrinsic and

infinite value

of each life

as you do;

whether

young, old,

rich, poor,

inspiring

or irritating;

whatever the

colour, creed,

gender or

shoe size:

keep us from

treating others

as ‘them’,

for there

is only

‘us’.
