Lord, save us
from the
temptations
of the ego,
the focus on
our own wants
and desires
at the expense
of others,
the seeking of
status, wealth
and power
for ourselves
rather than
the common good.
May our focus
be on you,
that we may
point to
your love,
your kingdom.
