Set our hearts, Lord,
not on fleeting things
or passing glory,
fickle power
or fleeting fame,
or the shifting sands
of worldly wealth.
Fix our hearts rather
on the lasting treasure
of your kingdom,
the firm foundation
of your gospel,
the solid ground
of your love.
