You, Lord,
are the resurrection
and the life.
Call us out
from those things
which cause our spirit
to wither and die;
free us from
the bonds of sin,
from captivity
to that which
is not nurturing
to our souls.
Unbind us;
wrap us instead
in your life, light
and love.
