Free us, Lord,
from a mere
enslavement
to lists of rules
and regulations,
in which righteousness
becomes something
we try to earn.
Inspire us instead,
by your Spirit,
to so desire your will
and your ways,
that we dedicate
our freedom
to revealing
your love
at work.
