We pray you, Lord,
harden not our hearts,
but soften them;
freeze not our hearts,
but warm them;
close not our hearts,
but open them:
to the needs
of our neighbour,
the needs of
those near to us
and those far away;
the needs of the world.
Help us love
as you love.
