Give us a yearning, Lord,
to spend time with you,
aside from
the clamour of the world
and the demands of life.
Let us find
in you and with you,
a deep peace for our souls,
the healing of your love;
not a mere ‘fixing’ of issues,
but a true belonging
as your people.
