Fill us, Lord,
with your wisdom;
guide not only our actions
but also our words,
that our tongues
may voice your praise
in all we say.
May our ambition
be for your glory,
not our own:
grant us to speak
gentleness and peace,
mercy and truth,
and to live them
for all.
