Keep us alert to your voice,
to your guidance, Lord;
help us to listen
for your leading
and your encouragement,
even when circumstances
tell us humanly
what we are expected to do.
Give us the faith of Mary,
the faith of Joseph,
to trust in your way
not the world’s.
