Equip us, Lord,

empower and

enthuse us,

to prepare the way

of your kingdom

in the lives of

those around us,

near and far.

But work first

on our own hearts;

clear the way

of all we get wrong,

of the ways we detract

from your love,

of all that masks

your image

in us.
