As we seek
to live our lives
as a joyful response
to your love, Lord,
keep us centred
on that love,
and let not our ego
take the focus onto
what we imagine
we can do for ourselves.
Keep us fixed on you,
on your grace,
on your guiding Spirit
who leads us into truth.
