You call us Lord,
to be sometimes sower and sometimes soil.
Help us to prepare the ground
in our hearts and communities,
and to scatter the seeds of your kingdom
liberally, widely, generously.
May we receive that seed ourselves, as good soil,
and grow your kingdom.
