You call us, Lord,
to be heralds of your kingdom,
sharers of your good news;
to tell people of your promises,
and their fulfilment
in crib and cross,
Emmanuel and Easter.
Give us joy in sharing your love,
even in the face of difficulties,
disappointments
and tiers.
