Open our hearts, Lord,
to receive with joy your Word:
the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us,
the Word whom the Scriptures reveal,
the Word who comes to us in the Sacraments,
the Word who animates us with love.
May we rejoice in him,
and truly be his people.
