Give us, Lord,
the gift of boldness in our faith:
courage in the face
of conflict and challenge,
assurance in the face
of difficulties and doubt.
Lead and guide us
in all our words and deeds,
that we may point always
to you and your kingdom,
meeting fear
with love.
