Fill us, Lord,

with a desire

for the wellbeing

of one another,

born of your love,

of your gospel.

Teach us to look

not so much

to the weight of

our own desires,

but to the weight

of another’s need.

Give us generous hearts,

help us pursue

that which

makes for

peace.
