You make with us, Lord,
an unbreakable covenant
of love and life;
a bond that is
sure and certain,
against which
not even
the gates
of death
can stand.
Day by day,
remind us and
reassure us
of your love for us,
which we can
never negate.
Help us
to be open
to you.
