Lord, if ever
our apprehension
of your love,
your gospel,
your kingdom,
your way,
becomes dulled
and tarnished
by our preoccupation
with the stuff
of daily life,
keep our hearts,
our minds,
our souls
open to you,
to renewal
by the presence
of your
nurturing
Spirit.
