Bind us, Lord, to you;
to the ways of your kingdom,
lest we bind ourselves
to other things,
other people.
Harness us to your yoke
of love, of justice, of peace,
lest we be lured by the yokes
of power, of greed, of violence.
Keep our feet
and our focus
on your Way.
