Take from us, Lord,
any sense
that we must
earn your favour,
deserve your forgiveness,
or work our own salvation;
and keep us from
expecting that
of others.
Rather,
inspire us to rejoice
at your welcome
and generosity,
to accept your love,
and to share it
with all.
