The nations rage, Lord,
and we yearn
for your peace to come.
Encourage, enthuse, equip us
to work for that peace,
for justice and mercy,
for love of our neighbour,
for the common good.
Turn hearts
from a desire for empire,
to a longing for your kingdom,
your love.
